Our business model is based completely on flexibility and quality bespoke service. Therefore, if all you want is to enjoy one of our many Guided Bird Watching trips, that´s fine.
However, we recognize that some of our clients often need help in finding accommodation. This is something that we can also provide assistance with. Not by simply providing a few links to websites of unknown organisations but by working with people and companies that are personally known to us.
If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. All of the accommodation listed is well known to us and is therefore personally recommended.
For all of the accommodation listed, you have the option of arranging it yourself directly, or alternatively should you wish to have a single point of contact and book your birding and accommodation through us, we are happy to arrange everything for you. Simply inform us of your requirements and we´ll respond accordingly.
Accommodation in La Drova & Surrounding Area

Gandia Casa Rural(B&B) is a beautiful and spacious country home, situated 7km from our home village of La Drova and 3km from the town of Gandia. It is set in a rural location amongst verdant citrus groves and enjoys stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Nigel and Mark run Villa Florencia with all of its facilities and comforts like a small country hotel and combine this with a welcoming feeling of informality and relaxation. La Casona de Ferrando. A peaceful rural guesthouse based in our home village of La Drova. With delightful wooded gardens, a swimming pool and superb mountain views, it´s a perfect place to relax. There are 3 beautifully decorated rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and superb views of the gardens and surrounding mountains.
Guests have the choice of bed and breakfast or room only. There is a large communal lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen, offering the flexibility to self cater if desired. Outside, there are terraces for dining too.
Individual rooms can usually be booked per night if a short stay is required, or of course for longer periods. For larger groups of families, all 3 rooms can be booked as a “package”. Appartments “Casa El Somni”. Based in our home village of La Drova, “El Somni” was originally a rural convent that served the Franciscan Sisters. Purchased by it´s current owners in 2004, the building and extensive gardens have been painstakingly and lovingly restored. El Somni comprises 3 completely self contained appartments, that can house groups of 2, 4 and 6 people. The sleeping arrangements can be modified to suit accordingly, and all have their own fully equipped kitchen, bathroom(s) and spacious living areas.
The attention to detail in the decoration of each and every room is a credit to the owners and adds to the character and soul of the house. The grounds provide numerous peaceful corners and terraces in which to sit and enjoy the stunning mountain views and beautiful flowers and plants. Accommodation in the Historical Town of Xativa
Casa Aldomar is an eighteenth century silk weaver’s house that blends perfectly into the old quarter of Xativa, the most interesting part of the city. It is located close to the Basilica and Market Square, the focal point for Xativa’s most innovative restaurants and charming bars.
The hotel’s four en-suite rooms are equipped with both heating and air conditioning, making them comfortable for year round stays. There is wi-fi access to connect your laptop throughout the house. Although the rooms don’t have TV, there are plenty of interesting books and games for guests to enjoy.
There is a spacious patio that offers a peaceful green oasis where you can put your feet up after exploring the city’s medieval streets or climbing to its mountain top castle as well as a roof terrace with amazing views.
